Episode 6: Wiring, Brakes, Quick-connects & Rear Body Structure Overview

Welcome back to episode six of Munro’s Tesla Model Y Performance teardown, where Munro & Associates CEO Sandy Munro provides an overview of the vehicle’s wiring, coolant lines, brakes and rear body structure.

From the corrugated wrap over the local 12 volt wires and the more expensive but 100% leak proof quick-connects on the coolant line, to the heavier, cast over front and rear brakes, and self-locating, aluminum rear cradle-like piece, Sandy was really happy with what he saw.

In each of these areas of the Tesla Model Y Performance, Sandy is pleased with the quality of what he says is turning out to be a fabulous vehicle. Check out this video for full details.

Also, please consider Sandy’s suggestion for how to pay it forward during these challenging times. Together we have the ability to make a difference!
