Tips for Tesla E2 – Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Charging

In today’s episode, Sandy Munro talks about the vehicle-to-grid charging for Tesla vehicles and EV’s in general as well as vehicle to vehicle charging and inherent issues that are underlying within them.

What happens if you get stuck on the road with no charge in your car? Or what happens if you need to charge from home but a giant storm has cut the power to your house and/or neighborhood and maybe even your solar panels (should you have them) are damaged and you can’t get power to your car?

As Sandy gets into the weeds of the electronics, he points some of the so-called solutions to these issues isn’t so simple as a quick physical add-on or just doing software updates to the car.  Sending power backwards through the system isn’t physically possible due to the nature of the existing circuitry, however, redesigning the car introducing bi-directional circuitry might solve this issue.

Sandy suggests some other novel ideas, but to learn them you have to watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qM0LpsYb6A&t=5s
